WordPress Ads

Yikes!!! I now have Ads??

WordPress logo

Only saw the ‘ad’ while ‘logged out’ other ‘WordPressers’ may want to check their site, while logged out.. When you click a link above the ad it takes the person to a link that states that ‘this person either 1: gains financially from this blog… or 2: has not ‘upgraded’ to free the site from Ads!

How Misleading / Confusing of WordPress…. Am NOT impressed…

English: WordPress Logo

I do not ‘gain financially’ from this blog.. I was very unimpressed to say the least, first of all since they are not viewable for Admin etc.. is bordering on absolutely ‘Rude As’; because then you are also unaware of it..

I am rarely on my account here without having first logged in.

The ad did not even load properly.. so was wondering ‘what random image did I insert here’? (it was before the comments on a posting) After reloading the page ‘there it was’ a slightly ‘off’ ad also; so who knows where they are drumming up $ as well.. That is their ‘explanation’ for people who have not ‘upgraded’ that they’re choosing ‘random’ blogs to help ‘run the wordpress websites’… really, hey? Rude also when bloggers are not informed that it’s happening to their site first.. :(

I’ve also started a ‘wix’ website.. stay ‘tuned’.. have been spending a lot of time there, and other websites not mentioned in my ‘about me’ etc…

All the best, readers.. 🙂

Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey, Remix of Summertime Sadness..

Thought I’d change this post to ‘Promote’ more Music etc..  lol

Lana Del Rey is the new face of H&M

The singer fronts ‘LA noir’ collection for the Swedish high street retailer..

With a Mulberry bag named after her, and a Vogue cover to her name, Lana Del Rey‘s fashion rep is growing in proportion to her beehive – and it gains another inch with the news that the singer will be the face of H&M’s autumn/winter ad campaign.

Shot by fashion gods Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin (who have also worked on Balmain and Christian Dior campaigns this season), the images released suggest Del Rey’s signature unhinged 60s-housewife style remains. She’s pictured in a pale pink angora jumper and leather jeans, chandelier earrings, big hair, black eyeliner and claw-like nails. As H&M’s creative director, Donald Schneider, told WWD: “The mood is very LA noir.”

Indeed – it’s a mood that colours spring/summer 2012, with brands from Louis Vuitton to Jonathan Saunders promoting saccharine but sharp 60s sirens in the Del Rey vein. That’s set to continue. Del Rey will pay homage to David Lynch, who the singer has consistently named as a big influence on her work, in a cover of ‘Blue Velvet’ – the song immortalised by Isabella Rossellini at the start of Lynch’s 1986 film – for a video for the brand, to be released on the website on September 19, and then used for TV commercials. Del Rey might have become a figurehead for high fashion’s retro-tinged dark mood but H&M are banking on it going big.  { Original Story Link }
